Our motto – treat every founder request as our own

• Our philosophy is to remain a passive observer until the founder engages us, like an API. Once the founder comes to us with a request, we treat it as our own, meaning we don’t give up until we resolve it.
• We use a combination of people and AI to monitor all communication from our portfolio founders to ensure we don’t miss requests in emails or chats, even if they were not addressed directly to us.
• To resolve most requests, we leverage our community, where we have over 150 tech founders, operators, and advisors.
• We are strong believers in working with advisers and we love helping our portfolio founders find the right adviser.

<aside> 💬 S16 Advisory chat Here the founders chat with fellow portfolio founders and the most active founder/operator LPs, can ask any question or gently promote their service. We guarantee a response to every reasonable question. We urge the founders to start here for anything they need help with. We automagically pick it up in case the community can't help.

However, we can help with job description review, scorecard review, finding a bar raiser for the final interview, providing connections to the most relevant and trusted recruiters, connecting to advisors who can help build the in-house hiring process, and finding a trusted connection within our community for a reference check.

<aside> 🤝 Intros to first clients and design partners We can help find first clients and design partners. It works best if the founder provides us with the names of target companies. We encourage the founders to start by asking in the Advisory chat; we pick it up from there in case there is no response. We strive to help cross the chasm by helping the company secure the first three clients/pilots/design partners.

<aside> 💰 Fundraising We help the founders think through the round structure, get the data room ready, and provide intros to over 300 funds with which we have strong connections. We take the founder’s side and bring the investor’s expertise with us.
